from idea to creation…

✏️ Sketch
Every piece begins in my notebook, where ideas are freely sketched, explored, and refined. This stage is intuitive—shapes, textures, and concepts take form alongside notes and evolving inspiration.

Model
The concept is then brought into Blender, where I carefully build each form in 3D. This is an iterative process, with ongoing adjustments and new ideas developing as the piece comes to life.

AI Use & Transparency

At Honey Swamp, every piece is rooted in creativity, intention, and a love for handcrafted expression. We believe in being open about how our work is made, including the thoughtful use of modern tools.

From time to time, we may use artificial intelligence (AI) in a limited, supportive role within our creative process. This can include assistance with visual concept development, refining written content, or supporting technical scripting for our website.

Every AI-assisted element is carefully reviewed, edited, and finalized by a human to ensure it reflects the artistic style, quality, and authenticity that define Honey Swamp. AI is never used as a replacement for creativity, but rather as a tool to help bring ideas to life more efficiently.

We remain committed to originality, transparency, and meaningful design. The heart of Honey Swamp will always be human creativity, with technology used only as a gentle support along the way.

🎨 Texture
Using Substance Painter, I develop rich surfaces and materials. I often hand-paint details directly onto my work, adding depth, personality, and a more organic, handcrafted feel.

Finish
Final touches are added with care—refining details, ensuring cohesion, and preparing each piece for presentation. At this stage, everything is thoughtfully reviewed to reflect the Honey Swamp aesthetic and quality.

Sass Piggins

About the Creators behind Sugar Hollow

Hi, I'm Sass, the creator behind Honey Swamp, Sass & Fins, and Game Hive.

I'm an artist, graphic designer, wife, and mom with a lifelong passion for creating. With a degree in Graphic Design and years of experience designing for both virtual and real-world projects, I love turning ideas into experiences that bring people together.

My work combines storytelling, illustration, branding, world-building, and interactive design. Whether I'm creating whimsical characters for Honey Swamp, innovative fishing products through Sass & Fins, or fun new games with Game Hive, everything I build starts with the same goal: creating something original that makes people smile.

Together, these projects call Sugar Hollow home—a growing creative community where imagination, collaboration, and a little bit of magic come together.

When I'm not designing, you'll usually find me creating art, working on new ideas, or finding inspiration in nature and the outdoors. I believe the best creations are the ones that tell a story and leave people feeling like they've discovered something special.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoy exploring my little corner of Sugar Hollow as much as I've enjoyed creating it.

JonBlany

Hi, I'm Jon Blany, and welcome to Game Hive! I've been a part of the Second Life® community for many years, and creating has always been something I genuinely enjoy. What started as learning how to script and build eventually turned into a passion for designing games, HUDs, business systems, event tools, and other products that help make Second Life more fun and easier to use.

Before Game Hive, I owned JB Designs, where I spent years creating custom scripts and Building for residents and businesses across the grid. Although JB Designs has since closed its doors, it was an incredible chapter of my journey and taught me lessons that continue to shape everything I build today. That experience led me to Co-create Game Hive—a fresh start with an even bigger vision.

My goal isn't just to sell products; it's to build software that people genuinely enjoy using. I love taking an idea, solving a problem, and turning it into something that makes someone's virtual life a little easier or a lot more fun. One of my favorite parts of being a developer is listening to the community. Many of my products have been inspired by customer suggestions, beta testers, and friends who simply asked, "Wouldn't it be cool if...?" Those conversations often become the next project I'm excited to build.

When I'm not scripting or designing, you'll usually find me brainstorming new ideas, testing upcoming features, helping customers, or working on the next Game Hive project. I'm always looking for ways to learn something new and push my creativity a little further. I believe in building products that are reliable, easy to use, and backed by support you can count on. To me, great customer service is just as important as great code.

Thank you for stopping by and supporting what I do. Whether you've been with me since the JB Designs days or you're just discovering Game Hive, I truly appreciate you being here. Every customer, beta tester, and community member has helped make this journey possible. I can't wait to share what's coming next. See you around the Hive!
