Chum-Core Dispenser

Easy Fish Display & Rez System

The Chum-Core Dispenser makes it easy to load, organize, and rez your fish collection.

Choose individual fish, rez a set number, or rez your entire collection at once. The dispenser automatically keeps track of how many fish are loaded and arranges them in circular levels above the dispenser.

Getting Started

1. Place Your Dispenser

Place the Chum-Core Dispenser wherever you want your fish to appear.

2. Load Your Fish

Drop your fish objects into the dispenser's inventory.

The dispenser automatically detects the fish inside and updates the displayed count.

3. Open the Menu

Touch the dispenser to open the owner menu and choose how you want to rez your fish.

Rez Your Fish

The main menu gives you several options:

Choose Item

Select and rez one specific fish from the dispenser.

If you have more than 8 fish loaded, they will automatically be organized across multiple pages.

Rez 32

Rez up to 32 fish.

Rez 64

Rez up to 64 fish.

Rez 96

Rez up to 96 fish.

Rez All

Rez all fish currently stored inside the dispenser.

Perfect when you want to quickly populate a large display.

Fish Arrangement

Fish are automatically arranged in circular levels above the Chum-Core Dispenser.

Each level can contain up to 32 fish.

You can customize both the horizontal spacing and the vertical spacing between levels using the Settings menu.

Customize Your Dispenser

The Settings menu gives you control over the dispenser's appearance and fish placement.

Circle Radius

Controls the size of the circle used to arrange your fish.

Smaller radius: Tighter fish grouping
Larger radius: More space between fish

The available range is 0.5–2.00 meters.

Level Height

Controls the vertical spacing between each group of fish.

If you are displaying more than 32 fish, additional fish are placed on another level above the first.

Adjust the Level Height to control how much space appears between those levels.

Floating Text

The dispenser includes an optional floating information display.

When enabled, it shows:

Touch for menu

Change Name

Give your dispenser a custom name to match your display or collection.

Text Color

Choose from:

  • White

  • Red

  • Green

  • Blue

  • Yellow

  • Orange

  • Purple

  • Pink

  • Cyan

Text On/Off

Don't want floating text?

Simply turn it off from the Floating Text menu.

Texture HUD

The Chum-Core Dispenser includes a Texture HUD with 6 new color options, allowing you to quickly change the appearance of your dispenser.

Simply wear the HUD and select the color you want.

No editing or manual texture changes are required.

Fish Inventory

The dispenser automatically monitors its inventory.

Your fish count updates:

  • When fish are added or removed

  • Automatically every 10 seconds

The displayed number represents the rezzable fish objects currently stored inside the dispenser.

To add more fish, simply place them into the dispenser's inventory.

Reset Defaults

Want to start over with the original settings?

Go to:

Settings → Reset Defaults

This restores the dispenser's default:

  • Name

  • Floating text color

  • Floating text visibility

  • Circle radius

  • Level height

Resetting the settings does not remove your fish.

Important Information

Owner Only

The Chum-Core Dispenser is owner-operated.

Only the owner can access and use the dispenser's menu.

Menu Timeout

For security and cleanup, the menu automatically closes after 2 minutes of inactivity.

Simply touch the dispenser again to reopen it.
