Welcome to Sugar Hollow — Grand Opening August 1st!
For the past couple of months, something new has been taking shape. What started as an idea has slowly grown into an entire little world, and after months of building, landscaping, creating, rearranging, rebuilding (and probably moving the same tree more times than we'd like to admit), Sugar Hollow is finally ready to open its doors!
Created by Sass Piggins and JonBlany, Sugar Hollow is a brand new Second Life destination built to bring together our shops, creations, and community in one cozy little corner of the grid. And on August 1st, we're officially opening!
Welcome to the Hollow
Sugar Hollow was built from the ground up to feel like more than simply a place to shop.
It's a whimsical little village tucked between the trees and water, with winding paths, cozy buildings, docks, hidden corners, and plenty of places to stop and explore. We wanted to create somewhere that felt like its own tiny world — a place where our stores could live, but also somewhere people might actually want to spend a little time.
Throughout the Hollow you'll find the homes of Honey Swamp and Sass & Fins, along with new areas to explore, places to fish, and lots of little details we've tucked into the landscape.
Honey Swamp
Of course, the Honey Sprites needed their own little corner of Sugar Hollow. Honey Swamp brings its whimsical, storybook world into the Hollow with original creations, characters, décor, landscaping, and plenty of the slightly peculiar charm you would expect from the swamp. There are also some brand new Honey Swamp releases arriving for the grand opening — but we'll be giving those a post of their own!
Sass & Fins
Follow the water and you'll eventually find yourself at Sass & Fins, our home for all things fishy. The new shop has been built alongside the docks and fishing areas, creating a space where you can browse our latest creations, check out our Xundra's Fishing System products, and then head outside and actually do a little fishing. We've been especially busy behind the scenes creating new things for Sass & Fins, too, so there will be plenty of new releases waiting for you on opening day.
The Fish Market
One of our favorite additions to Sugar Hollow is the brand-new Fish Market. The market gives members of the fishing community a place to set up shop right here in the Hollow. Booths are available for just L$50 per week and include 50 prims, making it an inexpensive little spot to sell your fish and fishing-related goodies. We hope to see the market grow and change as new vendors move in and make their booths their own.
There's More to Explore
Not everything in Sugar Hollow is about shopping. We've filled the sim with little places to wander, sit, fish, explore, and discover. Some things are easy to find. Others might require wandering off the path a little.
And we're not finished yet.
Game Hive will also be making its home at Sugar Hollow soon! We're still busy behind the scenes getting everything ready, but our newest venture — interactive fun and useful creator scripts — will be joining Honey Swamp and Sass & Fins in the Hollow.
Sugar Hollow is something we plan to continue building on. The grand opening isn't the finish line — it's really just the beginning. We have plenty of ideas for what can happen here next.
And We've Been Making Things. A LOT of Things.
Apparently building an entire sim wasn't enough to keep us busy. Both Honey Swamp and Sass & Fins have brand-new releases arriving alongside the opening of Sugar Hollow, and there are enough of them that we're not even going to attempt to squeeze them all into this post. We'll be sharing separate release posts where you can get a proper look at everything that's new.

After months of building, creating, tweaking, landscaping, and watching this little world slowly come together, we're incredibly excited to finally share Sugar Hollow with everyone.

Come wander the paths. Visit Honey Swamp and Sass & Fins. Check out the Fish Market. Do a little fishing. Find a quiet corner. Or just come see what we've been building.
